Türkçe'de -E/-İ Durum Eklerinin Karışması Sorunu

Abstract

Ad durumu (casus) dilden dile hem işleyiş hem de yapılışı yönünden farklılıklar gösterir. Türkçede ekle sağlanan bu yapılarda, Batı dillerinde edatlar kullanılır. Durum içerisinde ele alınan belirtme ve yönelmenin üzerine geldiği fiillerle doğrudan bir ilgisi vardır. Türkçede Batı dillerine göre yönelme ve belirtme daha keskin bir çizgide kullanılmasına karşılık kimi fiillerin çekiminde bu iki durumun birbirinin yerine geçtiği görülür. Bu yazıda durum kavramı ile yönelme ve belirtmenin tarihi ve günümüz Türkçesindeki ilginç örnekleri verilmiş, sebepleri açıklanmıştır.

Case endings differ from language to language with respect to both its their functions and usage. These structures are made possible in Turkish whereas the prepositions are used for this purpose in Western Languages. In a case, the dative and accusative cases have direct relation with the verbs to which they are added to. Although in Turkish the dative and accusative cases are used with keener rules, it is observed that these two cases are confused with each other in grammar infections of so me verbs. In this paper, history of the cases, dative and accusative and the interesting exaınples of today's Turkish are reported and the reasons for this confusion are expressed.
