Osmanlı Devrinde Yanya (Ioannına) ve Çevresinde İnşa Edilen Bazı Kilise ve Okullar

Abstract

Konumuzu teşkil eden Yanya, Osmanlı devrinde en önemli kilit noktalarından biri idi. Özellikle Sela - nik, Manastır yolu üzerinde çok özel bir k onuma sahipti. Bölge Osmanlı hâkimiy etine girdiği ilk devirlerden itibaren tam bir merkez durumundadır. II. Murad za - manında Osmanlı toprakların katılan Yanya, kilise inşaatlarının en çok ar ttığı 1850 sonrasında Vilay et olarak görünmektedir. Bizim burada ele alacağımız k onu ise Osmanlı hâkimiyeti sırasında yazışmalar sonrası alınan izinlerle gerçekleştirilen okul ve kilise inşaatlarıdır. Kiliselerin dışında pek çok yapı inşaatı da ger çekleşmiştir. Özellikle Müslüman okullarında okumak ist emeyen hırıstiyan çocuklar için çok sayıda okul inşaası izni de vardır. Hatta bu okullar içinde meslek okulları v e din okulları da ön sırada y er almaktadır. Bunların pek ço - ğunun varlığı bugün halen devam etmektedir.

Yanya, the point of this essay, had been one o f the most significant cities during the Ott oman Era. It had had a v ery special location on dir ection of Selanik and Manastır. It had been a cenral point just after joining t the ar ea of the Ottoman Empire. It was joined during Murad II. and it had been a pr ovince in terms of administration after 1850, when the construc - tion of churches had been increased. The subject of this essay is the construction o f churches and schhols in the city during the Ott oman Era, which was carried out with permissions, taken formally. There had been other sort of building constructions besides chur ches. There had been sev eral permissions of school constructions for Christian students who do not pr efer to have education in Muslum schools. Mor eover, the schools were specialized primarily such as craf t and religious ones. Most of the still continue t o have their function currently.
