Tanzimat Döneminde Osmanlı Bosnası’nda Rüşdiye Mektepleri (1851-1878)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada,“Tanzimat Döneminde Osmanlı Bosnası’nda Rüşdiye Mektepleri (1851-1878)” başlığı altında, Bosna Vilayeti'ndeki Rüşdiye Mekteplerinin, ıslahat hareketinin etkisiyle modern eğitim kurumları olarak kurulmaları incelenmiştir. Osmanlı arşivine, salnâmelere ve dönemin gazetelerine dayanılarak Bosna Vilayeti’nin, sancaklarına göre rüşdiye sayıları ve her birinin geçirdiği değişimler ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Ayrıca eğitim kadrosu, öğrencilerinin sayıları ile bu eğitim kurumlarıyla ilgili kurallar izlenmiş, mekteplerde okutulan dersler, kullanılan eğitim metodları ve sınav törenleri incelenmiştir.

This study, under the title of “Rüşdiye Schools in The Ottoman Bosnia During Tanzimat Period (1851-1878)” aims to examine Rüşdiye Schools in the Ottoman Bosnia during the Tanzimat period as a modern Ottoman educational institution. Based on the Ottoman archive, provincial yearbook records (Salname), and the newspapers published in that period, the number of Rüşdiye school students according to the Sanjaks of the Bosnia Vilayet and the changes they have undergone were analyzed and documented. Then, a detailed account of the duties of the administrative cadres, names, and statics of the education staff and students, the courses that were taught in these schools as well as exam ceremonies, and the future careers of some of its graduates were given.
