Behçet Necatigil’in Şiirlerinde Tasarım ve Mekânın Ruhu

Abstract

Behçet Necatigil Türk edebiyatında “Evler Şairi” unvanı alarak mekân üzerine poetik felsefe geliştirmiş bir şairdir. Bu çalışmada şairin yalnız “evler”i değil sorunsallaştırdığı tüm mekânlar ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Şairin mekânı kavrarken başvurduğu bir kaynak olarak geçmiş tasavvuru anlaşılmaya çalışılmış, etkilendiği disiplinler mekânları incelerken ele alınmıştır. Mekânı inşa eden bir disiplin olarak mimariden, mekânı ve şiiri estetik hale getirmede tasarımdan yararlanılmıştır. Mekânların felsefi yönünü incelemede felsefeden, zaman tasavvurunu kavrayabilmek için fizik ve matematikten istifade edilmiştir. Görsel sanatlardan kübizm, şiiri şekillendiren bir anlayış olarak metin incelemelerinde yer almıştır. Çalışmamız bu yönüyle disiplinlerarası bir araştırma olma özelliği göstermektedir.

Behçet Necatigil is a poet who developed a poetic philosophy concerning places by gaining the title of “Poet of Houses”. This work aims to focus on all the places the poet has attempted to problematize, instead of solely focusing on “houses”. Descriptions of the past have been examined as a source which the poet utilized while gaining an understanding of places, and, the disciplines which influenced his works were discussed while examining the previously mentioned places. This work draws on architecture, which is a discipline that is used to build places; design, which is used to add aesthetic properties to places and poetry; philosophy which is used to examine the philosophical aspects of places in addition to physics and mathematics which are used to get a grasp on the concept of time. Our work has an interdisciplinary quality in this aspect.
