Sultanbeyli Hasanpaşa İlkokulundaki Öğretmenlerin Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrencilerle Karşılaştığı Sorunlar ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amaçları, Sultanbeyli Hasanpaşa İlkokulundaki yabancı uyruklu öğrencisi bulunan sınıf öğretmenlerin karşılaştıkları problemleri, problemlere yönelik olarak buldukları çözümleri ve problemlere yönelik çözüm önerilerini ortaya çıkarmaya çalışmaktır. Araştırma esnasında nitel bir araştırma kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler İstanbul’da Sultanbeyli Hasanpaşa İlkokulunda yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin bulunduğu sınıflardaki öğretmenlerle yüz yüze görüşülerek elde edilebilmiştir. Çalışılan gurubun belirlenmesinde maksimum çeşitlilik sağlanmıştır. Araştırma ile bulunan veriler ve analizleri sonucunda yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler ve ailelerinin özellikleri, karşılaşılan problemler, problemlere yönelik bulunan çözümleri ve çözüm önerileri teması olarak üç ana tema tespit edilmiştir. Aile özellikleri temasında: Türkiye’de bulunmalarının sebepleri, aile yapıları, maddi olanakları, çocukların eğitimleri ile ilgilenme durumları, göç etme sebepleri gibi verilere ulaşılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin karşılaştıkları sorunlarda ise; davranış problemleri, iş birliği sorunları ve eğitim öğretim süreci sorunları olmak üzere üç alt tema altında sıralanmıştır. Araştırmanın üçüncü temasında öğretmenlerin yukarıda belirtilen problemlerle ilgili olarak buldukları çözümleri ve problemlere yönelik çözüm önerileri tartışılmıştır.

The aims of this research are to try to reveal the problems faced by the classroom teachers with foreign students in Sultanbeyli Hasanpasa Primary School, the solutions they found for the problems and the solution proposals for the problems. A qualitative research was used during the research. The data in the research was obtained by face-to-face interviews with the teachers in the classes with foreign students at Sultanbeyli Hasanpasa Primary School in Istanbul. The maximum diversity was achieved in the determination of the studied group. As a result of the data and analyzes found in the research, three main themes were determined as the characteristics of foreign students and their families, the problems encountered, the solutions found for the problems and the solution proposals. In the theme of family characteristics: Data such as the reasons for their stay in Turkey, their family structure, financial opportunities, their interest in children's education, the reasons for migration were obtained. In the problems faced by classroom teachers; They are listed under three sub-themes as behavioral problems, cooperation problems and education and training process problems. In the third themes of the study, the solutions found by the teachers regarding the above-mentioned problems and the solution suggestions for the problems were discussed.
