İstanbul ili Ümraniye İlçesi Zehra Ülker İlkokulunda Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin Pandemi Sürecindeki Eğitim-Öğretim Sürecine Dair Duygu ve Düşünceleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma 2019 yılının son aylarından itibaren tüm Dünya’yı etkisi altına almış COVID-19 pandemisiyle başlayan karantina tedbirleri sürecinde, eğitim sisteminin ayrılmaz bir parçası halini alan uzaktan eğitim (online) uygulaması ve sonrasında yüz yüze eğitimin başlamasıyla okullarda görülen sorunları tespit etmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Bu amaçla İstanbul, Ümraniye ilçesi Zehra Ülker İlkokulu’nda görev yapan 11 sınıf öğretmeninin katılımıyla, sürecin öğretmenler açısından değerlendirilmesi istenmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 3 adet soru katılımcılara gönderilmiş ve konuyla ilgili görüşler, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim (fenomenoloji) deseni modellemesiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına dayanarak, öğretmenlerin yüz yüze eğitime geçilmesinden genel olarak memnun oldukları fakat hastalığa yakalanma, sürecin sekteye uğrayacağından çekinme, neyle karşılaşılacağını bilmemeden kaynaklı kaygı, endişe ve panikle derslere başlandığı; uzaktan eğitim sürecinde derslere katılım sağlayan öğrencilerin eğitim kayıplarının olmadığı; yüz yüze eğitime başlandığı ilk aylarda öğrenci davranışlarının disiplinsizce olduğu; öğrenci başarılarının düşük ve seviyelerinin altında olduğu; yüz yüze eğitim esas olmakla birlikte gerek duyulduğunda da uzaktan eğitimle online derslerin verilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

This study has been prepared in order to determine the problems seen in schools with the distance education(online) application, which has become on integral part of the education system, and then the start of face to face aducation, during the quarantine measures that started with the covid-19 pandemic, which has affected the whole world since the last months of 2019. For this purpose. With the participation of 11 classroom teachers working in Zehra Ülker Primary School in Ümraniye district of İstanbul, the process was asked to be evaluated in terms of teachers. 3 questions prepared by the researcher were sent to the participants and the opinions on the subject were analyzed by modeling phenomenology research desing one of the qualitative research methods. Based on the research findings, it was stated that the teachers were generally satisfied with the face to face education, but they started the classes with anxiety, anxiety and panic due to get sick, fearing that the process would be interrupted, and not knowing what to expect; that students who attend the lessons in the distance education process do not lose their education; student behaviors were undisciplined in the first months of face to face education; student achievements are low and below their level; Although face to face education is essential, it has been concluded that online lessons can be given by distance education when necessary.
