Yâsîn Sûresi Bağlamında Mushaf Kitâbetinde Yâkūt Müsta‘Sımî, Şeyh Hamdullah, Şükrullah Halîfe ve Hâfız Osman

Abstract

Osmanlı dönemi Mushaf kitabetinde nesih hattının gelişim sürecini takip edebilmek ve anlayabilmek için Osmanlı öncesinden Yâkūt el-Müsta‘sımî ve Osmanlı döneminde Şeyh Hamdullah ile önde gelen talebesi Şükrullah Halîfe’nin ve bir de ondan yaklaşık bir buçuk asır sonra gelen Hâfız Osman Efendi’nin hatlarını Yasin Sûresi bağlamında karşılaştırmak suretiyle bir takım tesbit ve değerlendirmelerde bulunmak, bu dört hattatın nesih yazısına getirdiği güzelliklerin anlaşılması açısından önemlidir. Bu mukayese, Yâkūt el-Müsta‘sımî’nin h. 690 (m. 1291), Şeyh Hamdullah’ın h. 914 (m. 1508), Şükrullah Halîfe’nin h. 899 (m. 1494) ve Hâfız Osman’ın h. 1094 (m. 1683) tarihlerinde istinsâh ettikleri Mushaf nüshalarındaki Yâsîn sûrelerinin sayfa düzeni, harf ve kelimelerin satıra akış açısı ve harf bünyeleri açısından kıyaslanması suretiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada uygulanan metodla XIII ile XVII. yüzyıl arasında yaşamış ve eser vermiş dört hattat arasındaki üslûb ve şive farklılıkları tesbit edilebilmekte ve böylece söz konusu süre zarfında Osmanlı nesih hattatlığındaki gelişim süreci izlenebilmekte ve süreç sonunda gelinen noktanın daha sağlıklı anlaşılması mümkün olabilmektedir.

In order to follow and understand the development process of the naskh line in the Mushaf inscription of the Ottoman period, Yaqut al-Musta’simi from before the Ottoman Empire and during the Ottoman period, Sheykh Hamdullah and his leading student Shukrullah Khalifa, and Hafiz Uthman who came about a century and a half after him, by comparing them in the context of Surat Yasin also it is important to make some determinations and evaluations in order to understand the beauties that these four calligraphers brought to the naskh script. This comparison is based on Yaqut al-Musta’simi’s mushaf dated 1291 AD, Sheykh Hamdullah’s mushaf dated 1508 AD, Shukrullah Khalifa’s mushaf dated 1494 AD and Hafız Osman’s mushaf dated 1683 AD were carried out by comparing of the surats Yasin in terms of page layout, the angle of flow of letters and words to the line, and letter structures. With the method applied in the study; The style and dialect differences between the four calligraphers who lived and gave worked between the 19th and 16th centuries can be determined, and thus the development process of Ottoman naskh calligraphy can be followed and at the end of the process the point reached can be better understood.
