Operanın Tarihsel Gelişimi ve Osmanlı Dönemi’nden Cumhuriyet Dönemi’ne Opera Yapıları: Süreyya Operası Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada operanın tarihsel süreci, sahneye konulan ilk operalar ve operanın gelişimi ile yine operanın dönemsel farklılıkları ele alınarak, opera sanatının mekânsal değişim ve gelişim süreçlerini incelenmiştir. Opera kültürünün gelişmesi ile toplumların sanata olan bakış açısının ve temelinde tiyatro ile başlayıp, müzik ve edebiyatı içinde barındırarak kaynaştıran süreci irdelenmiştir. 16.yy. da ortaya çıkan ve 21.yy. kadar evrimini devam ettiren opera, inşa edilen yapıları, kültür farklılıklarını, kentlerin simgesel ve imgesel değerlerini ile iç mekân arayışlarının gelişiminin izleri sürülmüştür. Operanın ortaya çıkısı Avrupa da başlayıp dünyanın farklı bölgelerine bu sanatı taşımıştır. Her geçen yüzyıldan bir önceki dönemden alınan bilgiler ve deneyimler ile dönemin içinde olduğu sürece göre gerçekleştirilmiş yapılar ortaya çıkmıştır. İncelenen bu dönemler içerisinde opera sanatının Osmanlı dönemindeki yansımaları ve Cumhuriyet ile gelişmeye devam eden süreç belgelenmiş, incelemede opera binalarının döneminin sanat ve kültürünün diğer ülkelerle olan benzerlik, farklılık ve gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada operanın tarihsel gelişim süreci altında araştırılan opera mekânlarının coğrafyalarına göre bu mekanların farklılıkları görülmüş, Mimari ve iç mimari tasarımı oluşturan kültür değerleri ışığında ortaya çıkan sonuçları belgelenmiştir. Bu belgeler ışığında opera sanatı hakkında çalışmayı hedefleyen araştırmacılar için kaynak oluşturmak amaçlamıştır.

In this study, the historical process of opera, the first operas performed, and the periodic differences of development were discussed, and the spatial change processes of opera art were examined. With the development of opera culture, the perspective of societies on art and the process that starts with theater and fuses music and literature in its foundation are examined.16th century. The opera, which emerged in the opera and continued its evolution until the 21st century, talks about the structures built, cultural differences, the symbolic and imaginary values of cities and the development of interior space searches. The emergence of opera started with Europe and brought the aesthetics of art to different parts of the world. With the knowledge and experimentalism taken from the period before each passing century, structures that have been realized according to the period have emerged. Within these periods, the reflections of opera art in the Ottoman period and the process that continued to develop with the Republic were examined. In the study, the similarity, difference and development of the art and culture of opera houses with other countries were discussed. In the study, the spatial structures and spatial differences investigated under the historical development process of the opera created were seen. Documenting the results in the light of architectural design and the values that make up the culture were intended to provide resources for people who aimed to study the collected documents about the art of opera.
