Ahmet Cihan’ın Eserlerinde Osmanlı Toplumsal Yapısının İzdüşümleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusunu, Ahmet Cihan’ın eserlerinden hareketle Osmanlı toplumsal yapısının analizi oluşturmaktadır. Ahmet Cihan Hocanın eserlerinden yola çıkarak Osmanlı toplumsal yapısını analiz etmek ve bu analizin Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ulus devletindeki modernleşme çabalarına etkisini açığa çıkarmak bu çalışmanın amacıdır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntem ve tekniklerinden doküman tarama tekniği ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, Cihan’ın konu seçimleri ve analizlerinin Osmanlı toplumsal yapısına ışık tuttuğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Öte yandan Cihan’ın eserlerinin modernleşme çabaları bağlamında, Osmanlı’dan devralınan mirasın günümüz toplumsal yapısı içerisindeki geçerliliği üzerinde durması da araştırmanın bir diğer sonucudur.

The subject of this study is the analysis of the Ottoman social structure based on the works of Ahmet Cihan. The aim of this study is to analyse the Ottoman social structure based on the works of Ahmet Cihan and to reveal the effect of this analysis on the modernisation efforts in the nation state of the Republic of Turkey. The research was carried out with the document scanning technique, one of the qualitative research methods and techniques. As a result of the research, it was concluded that Cihan’s subject choices and analyses shed light on the Ottoman social structure. On the other hand, another result of the research is that Cihan’s works focus on the validity of the heritage inherited from the Ottoman Empire in the context of modernisation efforts in today’s social structure.
