Genç Kadınlarda Eldeki 2./4. Parmak Uzunluk Oranına Göre Kişilik Özellikleri Profilinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Prenatal cinsiyet hormonlarının etkisi ile elin 2. (işaret) ve 4. (yüzük) parmak uzunlukları oluşmaktadır. Diğer parmağa oranla işaret parmağının uzunluğu prenatal östrojen hormonu baskınlığına, yüzük parmağının uzunluğu ise testosteron hormonu baskınlığına işaret etmektedir. Bu çalışmada genç kadınlarda parmak uzunluk oranlarına bağlı olarak kişilik profillerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

The length of the index (2nd finger) and the ring (4th finger) fingers of the hand are determined by the effect of prenatal sex hormones. The longer length of the index finger relative to the ring finger indicates the predominance of prenatal estrogen hormone; while the longer ring finger indicates the predominance of prenatal testosterone. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between personality profiles and finger ratios in group young women.
