"Doğru ve tutarlı düşünerek akıl yürütme kurallarının ilmi" diye tarif edilen mantık ilmi, hatasız düşünebilmeyi, doğru sonuca varmayı amaç edinen bir ilimdir.
Kurucusunun Aristoteles (m.ö.384–m.ö.322) olduğu kabul edilen klasik mantık ilminin, önce genel İslâmî ilimlerin, daha sonra da özelde belâgat ilminin gelişimine etkisi ve katkısı çalışmamızın konusunu teşkil etmektedir.
Bu çalışmamızda, klasik mantık ilminin ilk etapta İslâmî ilimlere etkisi, karşılıklı etkileşimleri, İslâm dünyasında mantığın konumu ve bu konuda çıkan tartışmalar ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra belâgat ilminin oluşturulmasında Yunan felsefe ve mantığının etkisi ve bunun ne kadar etkinlikte ve ne düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Edebî düşünce ve dil zevki açısından, varsa sorunlar belirlenmeye ve elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda çözüme katkı sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.
Ayrıca bu ilişkinin mahiyeti bağlamında, dinî ilimlerin bugün gelmiş olduğu noktada mantığın konumu da anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. The science of logic, which is described as “the science of reasoning rules by thinking correctly and consistently” is a science aiming to think accurately and reaching to right conclusion.
Classical logic, The effect of classical science of logic, whose founder is considered to be Aristotle (384-322 BC), to the development of Islamic sciences in general and rhetoric in particular, constitutes the subject of our study.
In this study, the effect and mutual interactions of classical logic on Islamic sciences, the position of logic in the Islamic world and the debates on this subject will be discussed in the first place. Later, the effect of Greek philosophy and logic in the creation of the science of rhetoric and how effective and at what level it is will be tried to be determined. In terms of literary thought and language taste, it will be tried to determine the problems, if any, and to contribute to the solution in line with the findings.
Also, in the context of the nature of this relationship, the position of logic at the point where religious sciences have reached today will be tried to be understood.
