Büyülü Gerçeklik Romanlarından Biri Olan Eymen El‘Atum’un “Tis‘Ate ‘Aşer’’ Adlı Eserinin Tahlili

Abstract

Birçok roman kuramcısına göre romanın vazifesi, daha çok hayatı yansıtmaktır. Çalışmanın konusu olan romanın yazarı Eymen el-‘Atûm, cezaevi romancısı olarak tanınırken, Tis‘ate ‘Aşer’i alışılmışın dışına çıkarak büyülü gerçeklik akımının bir örneği şeklinde kaleme almıştır. Eymen el-‘Atûm, romanlarında sıkça Kur’ân’dan iktibaslara yer veren ve tüm eserlerinin başlığını bu kutsal metinden faydalanarak oluşturan biridir. Türkçe akademik çalışmalarda, eserlerine yönelik nispeten hak ettiğinin altında çalışmaların bulunması, bu araştırma konusunu seçmemizin sebeplerinden biridir. Yazarın romanları sadece bir edebi metnin güzelliğini yansıtmakla kalmayıp aynı zamanda belli bir düşünceyi de temsil etmektedir. Bu çerçevede Tis‘ate ‘Aşer adlı eser üç bölüm halinde ayrıntısıyla yapı ve içerik olarak incelendi. Şair kimliği de ön planda olan yazarın hem üslup hem de misyon ve vizyon olarak farklı türde ele aldığı bu eserinde okuruna vermek istediği mesajın etkisi de bu incelemeye dahil edildi. Daha çok tahlil yönteminin uygulandığı araştırmada, romanın yapısal özellikleri, metinlerarasılık açısından değeri, dil ve üslup özellikleri ile birlikte romanın tematik incelemesi yapıldı. Romanda en fazla işlenen konunun ölüm ve yalnızlık olduğu, bununla birlikte dil ve edebiyata özel bir önem atfedildiği görüldü. Romanın bu temaları, onun büyülü gerçeklik türüyle kurgulanmış olmasıyla uyumlu bir bütünlük oluşturmuş ve yazarın dini, ahlaki mesajlarını vermesi açısından da başarılı olmasına yardımcı olmuştur.

According to many novel theorists, the task of the novel is rather to reflect life. The author of the novel that is the subject of this study, Eymen el-'Atum, is known as a prison novelist, and he wrote Tis'ate 'Asher as an example of the magical realism movement by going out of the ordinary. Eyman el-'Atum frequently quotes from the Qur'ān in his novels and titled all of his works after this sacred text. One of the reasons for choosing this research topic is that his works have been relatively undeservedly studied in Turkish academic studies. His novels not only reflect the beauty of a literary text but also represent a certain idea. In this framework, Tis'ate 'Asher was analyzed in three parts in terms of structure and content. The effect of the message that the author, whose poet identity is also at the forefront, wants to give to his readers in this work, which he handled in different genres in terms of both style and mission and vision, was also included in this analysis. In the research, in which the analysis method was mostly applied, the structural features of the novel, its value in terms of intertextuality, language and stylistic features, as well as the thematic analysis of the novel were analyzed. It was observed that the most common themes of the novel are death and loneliness, while language and literature are given special importance. These themes of the novel formed a harmonious integrity with the fact that it was fictionalized in the genre of magical reality and helped the author to be successful in terms of giving religious and moral messages.
