Kayseri-Germir mahallesi kentsel sit alanının korunması için tespitler ve öneriler

Abstract

Bu çalışma kapsamında, Melikgazi İlçesi, Germir Mahallesi, Doğal ve Kentsel Sit alanı, birçok yönden incelenmiş, alanın durumu belgelenip irdelenerek, koruma sorunları saptanmış ve Germir Mahallesi'nin potansiyelini açığa çıkarmaya yönelik çözümler geliştirilmiştir. Germir Yerleşimi'nde, farklı din ve kültür grupları tarih boyunca birarada yaşamış ve mimarisine zenginlik katmıştır. Ancak zaman içinde yapılar eskimiş ve işlevlerini kaybetmişlerdir. Yapıların asıl sahipleri, konfor ve teknoloji koşulları daha iyi olan modern yapıları tercih etmişlerdir. Genellikle 19. yy'a tarihlenen geleneksel Kayseri evlerinin çok azı ayakta kalmıştır. Germir'de sahipsiz kalan geleneksel bir kent dokusu ortaya çıkmış ve günümüze ulaşmayı başarabilen yapıların bir kısmı niteliksiz onarımlar sonucu özgün elemanlarını kaybetmiştir. Tez kapsamında gerçekleştirilen alan çalışmasıyla, Doğal ve Kentsel Sit Alanı'nda bulunan tüm yapılar üzerinde incelemeler yapılarak, 1/2000 ölçekli doku analizi ve öneri paftaları ve 1/200 ölçekli plan ve silüet analiz ve öneri paftaları hazırlanmış, mimari özgünlüğü bulunan yapılar plan ve cephe tipolojilerine göre sınıflandırılarak incelenmiştir. Alandaki kullanıcılardan edinilen görüşlerle birlikte ele alınan bu çalışmalar değerlendirilmiş, mevcut duruma yönelik koruma sorunları ortaya çıkarılarak, koruma kararları ve müdahale önerileri belirlenmiştir. Bu kararlar sonucunda Germir Doğal ve Kentsel Sit Alanı'nın niteliğini kaybetmeden, gelecek nesillere aktarılması sürecinde izlenecek yolun belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir.

Melikgazi Germir District Natural and Urban Conservation aspects is analised from different perspectives within the context of thesis project. Conservation problems are noticed by documenting current area and solutions are created for bringing potential of Germir District into sharp relief. At the introduction part, according to historical background and geographical location of the Germir settlement which contains different religious and cultural groups lived here throughout the history and added richness to the architecture. But through the history buildings have become neglected. The original owners of the constructions have prefered modern buildings with better comfort and technological conditions. It seems that, in the 19th century, only a few of the traditional Kayseri houses survived. İn Germir a traditional urban texture has emerged and some of these have lost their original materials resulting from unqualified repairs. After the field study in Germir District, the current analysis with proposal plans 1/2000 scale and silhouettes-plans in 1/200 scale, proposal maps with typologies are prepared; in light of the studies mentioned above, the buildings with historical values are classified according to plan and facade typologies. These studies which are considered together with users opinions, problems related to the current situation have been revealed, conservation decisions and intervention recommendations have been prepared. As a result of these decisions, it was aimed to determine the way to be traced in the process of transfer to future generations without losing the quality of Germir Natural and Urban Site.
