Mustafa Kutlu’nun Hikâyelerinde Kasaba ve İnsan İlişkisi

Abstract

Bize bizden olanı, özellikle de yaşadığımız postmodern çağda unutulmuş değerler üzeriden anlatan Kutlu, Türk edebiyatında hikâye denilince akla ilk gelen isimlerdendir. Onun hikâyelerinde geleneğin kalbinin attığı yer kasabalardır. Kasabada yaşayan insanların birbirleriyle olan ilişkisi, hâkim olan kültür, geçim kaynakları geleneksel olanı işaret etmektedir. Çünkü köyler/kasabalar insan fıtratı için yaşanabilir tek mekânlardır. Kutlu için kasaba bir yer altı nehri gibidir; üstündekileri besler ve büyütür. Orada yaşayan insanların ilişkileri daima bir hudud çerçevesindendir; tahakküm, ötekileştirme yoktur. Kasaba insanının toprağı sevmesi ve sahiplenmesi, doğaya bakışta yaradanın güzelliklerini görerek şükürle yaşaması, yoksulu gözetmesi ve yardımlaşmayı içselleştirmesi hem yaşadığı mekânla hem de diğer insanlarla olan safiyane ilişkisini gözler önüne sermektedir. Hikâyelerinde; Anadolu coğrafyasını, siyasal ve toplumsal değişmeyi, modernizmle gelenek çatışmasını özellikle de kasabalar üzerinden anlatmaktadır. Kültürel ve sosyal bağlamda da geleneğin yaşatıldığı kasabalarda kanaatkarlık bu toprakların mayasını ifade etmektedir. Kısaca Mustafa Kutlu’nun hikâyelerinde kasaba bir belde olmaktan ziyade ruhu işaret etmektedir.Bu çalışmanın amacı Mustafa Kutlu’nun hikâyelerinde kasabaya hangi zâviyeden baktığını ortaya koymak bu bakışın kasaba ve insan ilişkilerine nasıl yansıdığını sebep ve sonuçlarıyla birlikte ele almaktır. Birinci bölümde Türk hikâyesi seyri içinde Mustafa Kutlu’nun yeri ve önemi tespit edilip kasabadaki insanların gündelik yaşam tecrübeleri, birbirleriyle olan ilişkisi, kasabayla kurdukları bağ irdelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde Türk edebiyatında kasabanın yeri ve önemi ele alınmış, Kutlu’nun eserlerindeki kasabaya dair yaklaşımlar incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde kasabada yaşayan, oradan göçen/kaçan, şehirde büyüyüp kasabaya yerleşen insanların kasabayla olan ilişkisineden ve sonuçlarıyla birlikte tetkik edilmiştir. Dördüncü ve son bölümde ise kasabanın değişim ve dönüşüm geçirmesi sebep ve sonuçlarıyla birlikte ortaya konulmuştur.

Kutlu is one of the first names that come to mind when the story is mentioned in Turkish literature, telling us about what is from us, especially the values forgotten in the postmodern age we live in. In his stories, towns are where the heart of tradition beats. The relationships of the people living in the town with each other, the prevailing culture and livelihoods point to the traditional one, because villages / towns are the only habitable places for human nature. For Kutlu, a town is like an underground river; It nourishes and grows those above. The relations of the people living there are always within the framework of a border; there is no domination, no othering. The love and ownership of the land by the townspeople, living with gratitude by seeing the beauties of the creator at the view of nature, taking care of the poor, and internalizing solidarity reveal both the place they live in and their pure relationship with other people. In his stories; He describes the Anatolian geography, political and social change, the conflict between modernism and tradition, especially through towns. In towns where tradition is kept alive in a cultural and social context, opinion means the ferment of these lands. In short, in the stories of Mustafa Kutlu, the town points to the soul rather than a town.The purpose of this study is to reveal from which lodges Mustafa Kutlu sees the town in his stories, and how this view reflects on town and human relations is discussed. In the first part, the place and importance of Mustafa Kutlu in the course of the Turkish story has been determined. The daily life experiences of the people in the town, their relationships with each other, and their bond with the town were examined. In the second chapter, the place and importance of the town in Turkish literature are discussed and some attention to the town in Kutlu's works is examined. In the third chapter, the relations of the people living in the town, migrating / escaping from there, growing up in the town and settling in the town are examined together with their causes and consequences. In the fourth and last chapter, the change and transformation of the town is presented together with its causes and effects.
