Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı 4-6 Yaş Kur’an Kursu Öğreticilerinin Sınıf Yönetimi Becerilerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’na (DİB) bağlı 4-6 yaş Kur’an kurslarında görev yapan Kur’an kursu öğreticilerinin sınıf yönetimi becerilerini incelemektir. Çalışmanın yöntemi nitel, modeli ise durum çalışmasıdır. Çalışmanın örneklemini İstanbul ili Zeyninburnu ilçesinde DİB’e bağlı 4-6 yaş Kur’an kurslarında görev yapan öğreticiler arasından amaçlı örneklem yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme ile seçilen 19 Kur’an kursu öğreticisi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilip yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir.Araştırmanın sonucunda kursların fiziksel mekanına ilişkin sınıfların küçük, oyun alanlarının yetersiz olduğu, sınıfların hijyenik ve güvenlikli olduğu, öğrenme merkezlerinin oluşturulamadığı, sınıf kurallarının öğreticiler tarafından çocuklara nasıl öğretileceğinin bilinmediği, program olarak Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarafından gönderilen müfredata uyulduğu, çocuklara boyama, oyun hamuru ile oynama, kesme yapıştırma çalışmalarının yapıldığı ancak okul öncesi eğitimin temel etkinliklerinden olan müzik, drama, anadili, okuma yazmaya hazırlık gibi temel etkinliklere yeteri kadar yer verilemediği, problemli davranışlarda çocuğun ailesi ile görüşülerek pedagoga yönlendirildiği, sınıf yönetiminde ödüle daha çok yer verildiği anlatılan bazı uygulamaların ceza olduğunun öğreticiler tarafından bilinmediği veli desteğinin harf ve sure öğretimine yönelik sınırlı kaldığı bulunmuştur. Bu sonuca göre bu kurslarda görev yapan öğreticilere sınıf yönetimi konusundaki çeşitli eğitimler ve uygulama örnekleri verilerek okul öncesi eğitim konusundaki farkındalıklarının artırılması önerilebilir.

The aim of this study is to examine the classroom management skills of the Qur'an course teachers working in Qur'an courses for the children at the ages of 4-6 under the Directorate of Religious Affairs (DIB). The method of the study is qualitative and the model is case study. The sample of the study consists of 19 Qur'an course teachers selected by criterion sampling from purposive sampling methods among the teachers working in the Qur'an courses affiliated to the DIB in the Zeyninburnu district of Istanbul for 4-6 years old children. In the study, the data were collected with a semi-structured interview form and developed by the researcher. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method.The result of the research showed that the classrooms related to the physical space of the courses are small, the playgrounds are insufficient, the classrooms are hygienic and safe, learning centers cannot be created, it is not known how the classroom rules will be taught to the children by the teachers, the curriculum sent by the Directorate of Religious Affairs is followed as a program, children are allowed to paint, play with play dough, make cut and paste activities, but the basic activities of pre-school education such as music, drama, mother tongue, preparation for reading and writing are not practiced enough, the child is directed to pedagogy by meeting with their family in problematic behaviors, and the teachers do not know the applications regarding the rewards in class management are actually a penalty, parent support is limited to teaching letters and suras. It was found that the parents' support was limited to the teaching of letters and suras. These results suggest that increasing the pre-school education awareness of teachers working in these courses by giving various trainings and practice examples on classroom management might be beneficial.
