İstanbul Kilim ve Düz Dokuma Yaygılar Müzesi

Abstract

‘‘Düz dokuma yaygı’’ deyimi düğümlü havlı halı dışında kalan havsız, düz satıhlı bütün el dokuma yer yaygılarını kapsamaktadır. Bu yaygılar diğer sanat türlerinden hatta düğümlü halılardan bile etkilenmeyen geleneksel motiflerin hakim olduğu yaygılardır. Türkiye’de kilim, cicim, zili ve sumak düz dokuma yaygıların en tanınmış olanlarıdır. Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü koleksiyonunda yer alan Kilim, cicim, zili ve saray üslubunda dokunmuş kilimler, yeniden açılacak Kilim ve Düz Dokuma Yaygılar Müzesi’nde sergilenecektir.

The term of “flat weaving loom beam” includes all the hand wowen beams which are ground and not pile, except knotted pile carpet. These beams are the ones which are dominated by the traditional motifs and unaffected by other forms of art an even by knotted carpets. In Turkey, rugs, cicim, zili and sumak the most well-known of flat weaving loom beams. The rugs, cicim, zili and the rugs which are textiled in the style of palace are the ones which are available in the collection of General Directorate of Foundation and they will be exhibited in the Museum of Rugs and Flat Weaving Rugs, which will be reopened.
