Geleneksel Maraş Evleri

Abstract

Maraş’ın geleneksel konut dokusunu, 19. yüzyıl sonu ile 20. yüzyıl başlarına tarihlenen yapılar oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, evlerden günümüze kadar gelebilenler arasından seçilen elli ev örnek olarak incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın temel malzemesini Adana Kültür Varlıklarını Koruma Bölge Kurulu Müdürlüğü ile Kahramanmaraş Müze Müdürlüğü’nden temin edinilen yapılara ait tescil fişleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada öncelikle, her evle ilgili bilgiler düzenlenen tabloda tek tek sıralanmıştır. Daha sonra incelenen evlerin tamamı ele alınarak ortak özellikler tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmada evlerin, hem birbirinden çok farklı özelliklere sahip olduğu hem de ortak yanları olduğu görülmüştür.

The traditional texture of the residential houses of Maraş is comprised of the structures, dating back to the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century. In this study, fifty houses that are able to survive up to this day, were selected as the samples. The main source of the study comprises of the registry vouchers of the buildings obtained from Culture Heritage Protection Regional Council Office in Adana and Kahramanmaras Museum Directorate. In the study, the information regarding each one of the houses was listed in a table as the first step. Then, the common characteristics of all the houses were identified and discussed. It was revealed that the houses feature very different characteristics from each other despite having common aspects.
