Güray Süngü’nün Eserlerinde Toplumsal İroni

Abstract

Bu çalışmada günümüz yazarlarından biri olan Güray Süngü’nün eserlerinde yer verdiği toplumsal ironinin ele alınış şekli incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı; Güray Süngü’nün bu zamana kadar yayımlanmış eserlerinde ele aldığı toplumsal meselelerin ironisini değerlendirmektir. Giriş hariç toplam üç bölümden oluşan çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde ironinin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki yeri ve tanımı, ironinin anlatım teknikleri ve söz sanatlarıyla olan ilişkisi, ironi oluşturma biçimleri, yeni Türk edebiyatında ironinin kullanımı ve muhtevaya bağlı bir adlandırma olarak toplumsal ironi kavramı üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde Güray Süngü’nün hayatı, edebi kişiliği ve eserlerine değinilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise Güray Süngü’nün eserlerinde modern çağ, kent hayatı, tüketim çılgınlığı, Batı özentiliği, siyasi olaylar, din, eğitim sistemi, aile kurumu, kadına karşı bakış ve ölüm gibi meselelerin toplumsal ironi kavramı adı altında ele alınış şekli incelenmiştir. Son olarak da ekler bölümünde Güray Süngü ile yapılan bir söyleşiye yer verilmiştir.

In this study, it has been tried to examine how the modern writer Güray Süngü handles social irony in his works. The aim of the study; Is to evaluate irony in social issues that has been taken place in all the published works of Güray Süngü. This study consists of three parts, excluding the introduction part. The first part consists of the place and definition of irony within the historical period, the relationship of irony with narrative techniques and rhetoric, types of irony, the use of irony in the new Turkish literature and the concept of irony which is a naming that is contingent upon the content is emphasized. In the second part, Güray Süngü’s life, literary personality and works are mentioned. In the third part; Under the concept of social irony, Güray Süngü's approach to issues such as modern age, urban life, consumption, western love, political events, religion, education system, family, place of women in society and death in his works has been examined. Lastly, an interview with Güray Süngü has been included in the appendices part.
