Osmanlı Türkçesi Sözlüklerinde Yer Alan Okçuluk Terimleri

Abstract

Gerek insanlık tarihinde gerekse Türk tarihinde çok eski bir geçmişe sahip olan okçuluk geleneğine ait bilgi ve tecrübe, hemen her dönemde yazının tanımış olduğu imkânlar doğrultusunda kayıtlara geçmiş, sonraki nesillere daha çok bu yolla aktarılagelmiştir. Türk dili ile yazılmış en eski eserlerden itibaren okçuluk sporunun, ok ve yayın izlerine rastlamak bizde bu geleneğin kadim bir kültürel ve sportif faaliyet olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Tarihsel sözlükler; dilin, yazıya geçirilmiş metinlerin söz varlığını temsil etmesi bakımından bazı tematik ve tarihsel araştırmalara malzeme vermeleri bakımından önemli bir görev üstlenirler. Bu bağlamda Türk okçuluk terimlerinin ele alınması alana katkı sağlayacaktır.

The knowledge and experience of the archery tradition, which has a very old history in both human and Turkish history, was recorded in the direction of the opportunities provided by the writing in almost every period, and was transferred to the next generations in this way. From the earliest works brought to the body in Turkish language, to come across traces of arrows and broadcast of archery sports reveals that this tradition is an ancient cultural and sportive activity. Historical dictionaries; they undertake an important task in terms of giving material to some thematic and historical research in order to represent the vocabulary of written texts. We believe that this also applies to Turkish archery terms.
