Oryantasyon Eğitiminin, MEB’e Bağlı Ortaokullarda İlk Atanan Branş Öğretmenlerinin Okul Kültürüne Uyumuna Etkisi

Abstract

Öğretmenlik mesleğine yeni başlayan öğretmenler için mesleğe ilk başlama heyecanın yanı sıra mesleğe ilk başlayacağı okul ile ilgilide birçok soru işareti mevcuttur. İlk meslek hayatına başlayacağı okul hazır kurulmuş bir düzene sahiptir. Bu düzen içinde birçok öğretmen belki yıllardır burada çalışmaktadır. Bu düzene dâhil olacak öğretmende dolasıyla bazı çekinceler olacaktır. Hiç tanımadığı bir ortam ve hiç tanımadığı meslektaşlarıyla birlikte ilk iş deneyimini yaşayacaktır. Okul salt bir bina olarak değerlendirilemez. Kendi içinde birçok sosyal ilişki ağını da barındırır. Bu sosyal ilişkiler ağı okul kültürünü oluşturur. Yeni görev başı yapacak öğretmende bu ağa sorunsuz bir şekilde dâhil edilmelidir. Bu ilişki ağının gelecek için sağlıklı bir şekilde başlaması ve öğretmenin bu ağa sorunsuz bir şekilde dahil olması için iyi bir oryantasyon planlaması ve bu plana uygun iyi bir oryantasyon yapılmalıdır. Oryantasyon ile okul amaçları, hedefleri, öğretmenden beklentiler yeni başlayan öğretmene en iyi şekilde anlatılır. Bu süreçler neticesinde yeni görev başı yapacak öğretmenin sisteme en iyi şekilde uyumu sağlanır ve yeni öğretmen okul kültürü içinde sosyalleşir.

With the orientation, the school goals, objectives and expectations from the teacher are explained to the new teacher in the best way. As a result of these processes, the new teacher is best adapted to the system and the new teacher is socialized within the school culture.
