Türkiye’ de Lisansüstü Tezlerde Okul Kültürünün İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ülkemizde 2000-2021 yılları arasında okul kültürü üzerine yapılan akademik nitelikteki çalışmaları inceleyerek bir araya getirmek ve okul kültüründe yaşanan değişim ve yenilikleri ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın veri toplama kaynakları doğrultusunda 2000-2021 yılları arasında yazılmış olan 27’si makale, 28’ i yüksek lisans tezi; 1’i Türk Dil Kurumu internet sitesinden, 7’ si doktora tezi, 4’ ü kitap olmak üzere 67 adet kaynakçadan yararlanılmıştır. Bunların 40 tanesi betimsel analiz yöntemiyle, 27 tanesi de içerik analizi yöntemiyle ele alınan lisansüstü tezlerdir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada okul kültürüne ilişkin ortaya çıkarılan bulgular ve sonuçlar incelendiğinde: Okul kültürünün oluşturulması sürecinde okul yöneticileri öğretmen ve öğrencileri rollerinin neler olduğu, okul kültürünün birden çok amaç, farklı inanç, bilgi ve beklentileri içinde barındırdığı; okul kültürünün milli ve manevi değerlerden beslendiği, okul kültürüne yön veren en önemli etkenin okul müdürü olduğu ve okul kültürünün tüm yeniliklere açık olması gerektiği bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Bir okulda sağlıklı bir okul kültürünün oluşturulabilmesinin en önemli ve en sağlıklı yolunun okuldaki tüm çalışanların iş birliği yapması sonucunda elde edilmiş olmasıdır. Bir okulda olumsuz faktörlerin olmaması için sağlıklı bir okul kültürüne ihtiyaç vardır. Okul kültürü tüm yeniliklere açık olmalıdır. Okul müdürlerinin sınavla göreve gelme durumlarının, okul kültürünü farklı yönlerden etkilemesi konusunda farklı görüşler ortaya konmuştur.

The aim of this study is to examine and bring together the academic studies on school culture between the years 2000-2021 in our country and to reveal the changes and innovations in school culture. In line with the data collection sources of the study, 67 bibliographies, including 27 articles, 28 master's thesis, 1 Turkish Language Institution Resource, 7 doctoral thesis, and 4 books, were used, written between 2000-2021. 40 of them are postgraduate theses that are handled with descriptive analysis method and 27 of them are handled with content analysis method.The document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. In the research, when the findings and results related to school culture are examined, it is seen that what are the roles of school administrators, teachers and students in the process of creating school culture, school culture contains multiple goals, different beliefs, knowledge and expectations, school culture is fed by national and moral values, school culture is fed by national and moral values. It has been found that the most important factor shaping the culture of the school is the school principal and that the school culture should be open to all innovations. The most important and healthiest way to create a healthy school culture in a school is to be achieved as a result of the cooperation of all employees in the school. A healthy school culture is needed in order to avoid negative factors in a school. School culture should be open to all innovations. Different opinions have been put forward about the impact of school principals' exams on the school culture in different ways.
