Tuhfetü Üli’l-Elbâb Fî Sınâati’l-Hattı ve’l-Kitâb Risâlesi’nin Hilâl Nâcî Tahkîkının Hat Sanatı Araştırmaları Açısından Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu tezde öncelikle risâleyi tahkik eden Hilal Nâcî’nin hayatından ve eserlerinden bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra risâlenin müellifi olan Abdurrahman ibnu’s-Sâyığ’ın hayatından, başlattığı İcâzet geleneğinden ve tespit edilmiş birkaç eserinden bahsedilmiştir. Kaynaklardan tespit ettiğimiz kadarıyla Abdurrahman ibnu’s-Sâyığ’ın biyografisine yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca risâleyi istinsah eden Mahmud Râcî hakkında bir bölüm oluşturulmuştur. Risaleden edindiğimiz bilgilere göre hat sanatı alanında terminolojik açıdan bir inceleme yapılmıştır. Son kısım ise Abdurrahman ibnu’s- Sâyığ’ın hat risâlesinin tercümesinden oluşmaktadır. Risalenin içerisinde, Abbasî ve Memlûk dönemlerinde hat sanatı alanında yapılan gelişmeler anlatılmıştır. O dönemlerde yeni icat edilen kalemler ve bütün kalemlerin isimleri zikredilmiştir. Meşhur Hattat İbn Mukle’nin hayatı anlatılmıştır ve risalenin en önemli konusu olan harflerin hendesesi (geometrisi) izah edilmiştir.

In this dissertation, first of all, the life and works of Hilal Naji (Naci) who was the copied of the Risalah (booklet, tractate), were mentioned. Afterward, the tradition of the certificate was started by Abd al-Rahman Ibn al-Sa’igh who was the author of the Risalah, and a few of his identified works were mentioned. As far as, we found in the resources the biography of Abd al-Rahman Ibn al- Sa’igh was given. In addition, a section was created about Mahmud Râci, who copied the risalah. According to the information we obtained from the risalah, a terminological examination was made in the field of calligraphy. The last part of the dissertation consists of the translation of Abd al-Rahman Ibn al- Sa’igh’s Risalah of Hatt (calligraphy). The Risalah covers the developments in the field of calligraphy in the Abbasid and Mamluk periods. Newly invented pens (qalam) and the names of all pens at that time were described. The life of the famous calligrapher Ibn Muqlah is mentioned, and the geometry of the letters, which is the most important subject of the Risalah, has been explained.
