Türkiye’de Eğitim Bilimleri ve Öğretmen Yetiştirme Alanındaki Bilimsel Yayınların Atıf Analizleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, Türkiye’nin eğitim bilimleri ve öğretmen yetiştirme alanındaki bilimsel yayınların atıf analizlerinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, ilgili alanda faaliyet gösteren 32 hakemli dergide 2005-2014 yılları arasında yayımlanan 7.681 makale üzerinden kapsamlı bir atıf analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara bakıldığında; incelenen 7.681 makalenin kaynakçasında yer alan farklı türlerdeki kaynaklara toplam 249.335 atıf yapılmıştır ve atıfların yarısından fazlasını dergiler oluşturmaktadır. Yapılan atıf sayılarında yıllara göre bir artış görülmekte olup söz konusu artışın kaynağı dergilere yapılan atıflardır. Makalelerde toplam 65.537 farklı kaynağa atıf yapılmış olup en fazla atıf yapılan ilk üç eser araştırma yöntemleri kitaplarıdır. Atıf yapılan kaynakların yarı yaşamı 9,64 olup makalelerin yarı yaşam yılı ile yazar sayısı, bildiri ve diğer atıf sayıları arasında negatif; toplam atıf, kitap atıf ve dergi atıf sayıları arasında pozitif ilişki saptanmıştır.

This research aims to conduct the citation analyses of scientific publications in the field of educational sciences and teacher education in Turkey. In line with this aim, a comprehensive citation analysis has been carried out using 7,681 articles published between 2005 and 2014 in 32 different peer reviewed journals in the aforementioned field. When the obtained results have been considered, it has been found out that there have been 249,335 citations made to the different kinds of sources in the references section of these 7,681 examined articles, and that more than half of the citations have been made to the journals. There has been an increase in the number of citations made by years, which is a result of the ascending number of citations to the journals. The citations in the articles have been made to 65,537 different sources in total, and top three most cited sources have been found to be the books of scientific research methods. The half-life of the cited sources has been seen as 9.64. Moreover, the analyses have resulted in negative correlation between the citation half-lives and number of authors, and number of proceedings and other citations; while positive correlations have been found between the citation half-lives and total number of citations, number of book and journal citations.
