Şems Osman Efendi’nin Şem’-i Şebistan Eseri (Araştırma-İnceleme-Tahlil)

Abstract

Şems Osman Efendi 19. yüzyılda yaşamış edebî ve tasavvufî yönü ile ön plana çıkmış kıymetli bir şahsiyettir. Şairin, Dîvân’ı başta olmak üzere Âdâbu’l- Mürîd fi-Sohbeti’l-Murâd, Mersiyye-i Cenâb-ı Seyyidü’ş-Şühedâ, Kenzü’l-Ma˘ânî ve Şem˘-i Şebistân isminde eserleri bulunmaktadır. Bu eserlerden Dîvân, Âdâbu’l-Mürîd fi-Sohbeti’l-Murâd ve Mersiyye-i Cenâb-ı Seyyidü’ş-Şühedâ üzerinde çeşitli çalışmalar yapılmış Kenzü’l-Ma˘ânî’ye henüz ulaşılamamıştır. Yaptığımız araştırma neticesinde kayıtlı tek nüshası tespit edilen Şem˘-i şebistân’a ise Konya Yazma Eserler Kütüphanesi’nde ulaşılmıştır.Bu çalışmada öncelikle kaynaklardan hareketle Şems Osman Efendi’nin hayatı, eserleri, edebî ve tasavvufî kişiliğine dair mevcut bilgiler verilmiş; ardından Şem˘-i şebistân şekil ve muhteva yönünden incelenmiştir. Eserin transkripsiyonlu metni, günümüz Türkçesi ve yazma nüshası verilerek çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda, daha önce üzerinde çalışılmamış olan Şem˘-i şebistân’ın, ilahi aşkı anlatan tasavvufî bir mesnevi olduğu, şairin kendi seyr ü sülukuna, edebî ve tasavvufî kişiliğine dair bilgiler verdiği anlaşılmıştır.

Şems Osman Efendi is a precious person who lived in the 19th century and came into prominence with his literary and mystical aspects. The poet has works with the names of Dîvân in particular, Âdâbu'l- Mürîd fi-Sohbeti'l-Murâd, Mersiyye-i Cenâb-ı Seyyidü'ş-Şühedâ, Kenzü'l-Ma˘ânî and Şem˘-i Şebistân. Among these works, various studies have been carried out on Dîvân, Âdâbu'l-Mürîd fi-Sohbeti'l-Murâd and Mersiyye-i Cenâb-ı Seyyidü'ş-Şühedâ but Kenzü'l-Ma˘ânî has not come to light yet. As a result of our research, the only registered copy of Şem˘-i Şebistân was found in Konya Manuscript Library.In this study, firstly, based on the sources, current information about the life, works, literary and mystical personality of Şems Osman Efendi was mentioned; then Şem˘-i Şebistân was examined in terms of form and content. The research has been completed by adding the transcribed text and manuscript of the work and contemporary Turkish version. As a result of the examination, it is understood that Şem˘-i Şebistân, which has not been studied before, is a mystical mathnawi describing divine love, and informs us about the poet's own divine journey and his literary and mystical personality.
