dc.description.abstractEnerji, Sanayi Devrimi'nden bu yana en büyük küresel amaç ve araç olmuştur. Devletler enerji sayesinde büyümüş, kalkınmış ve yine enerji ana fikirli siyasetler belirlemişlerdir. Bugün ise enerji sarfiyatı dünyaya zarar verir noktaya ulaşmış ve yeni enerji etkin sistemlerle, sarfiyatı denetim altında tutup, çözümler aranması gündeme gelmiştir. Günümüzde, yapılar enerji sarfiyatının büyük bölümünden sorumlu tutulmaktadırlar. Yapı yaşam döngüsü üzerinde gerçekleştirilecek düzenlemeler ile enerji sarfiyatında büyük oranda tasarruf sağlanabilecek, dolayısı ile kalkınmanın sürdürülebilir olması sağlanabilecektir.
dc.description.abstractThe concept of sustainability is a concept that many disciplines are interested in, thinking about and explofing it. The discipline of architecture continues to examine and study this concept like other disciplines. The discipline of architecture has found its place in the discussions of sustainability due to its wide interest and impact area and it has been influenced by this concept and accordingly it has created strategies and implementation methods. The concept of sustainability and sustainable development has been found place for itself in the architectural world by its sustainable buildings. The world economy has endorsed the contributions of sustainable struetures to the State economy and environmental proteetion. Certification Systems have been established to measure whether an architectural produet is sustainable and energy efficient or not. These systems, called Green Building Certification Systems, aim to design the buildings with consideration of sustainability criteria. LEED, BREEAM, Casbee and Greenstar are well known international certification systems that can be given as an example. In our country, the Bep-Buy (formerly Bep-Tr) certification system is being used. The common feature of the international certification systems is that they treat and certify the buildings as a whole. Bep-Buy is able to evaluate buildings on the basis of energy, but it can not evaluate as a whole in terms of ali sustainability criteria. There is not a certification system that can measure and evaluate only one or more sustainability features of the building separately and in aggregate as a whole. However, depending on the country conditions, it is costly and time-consuming to design fully sustainable quality building from the design stage for building producers. For this reason, a new Sustainable Building Assessment System (SBAS) has been envisaged with the aim of encouraging building producers and enabling architectural produets which carries sustainable features in ali aspects to be produced, measured, evaluated, documented and auditable. While the system is being built, it is thought to provide ease for designer and proprietor, also flexibility in evaluation and documentation.
