TİEM nr. 1974 Envanterli Siyer-i Nebî'deki kadın figürlerinin analizi

Abstract

XVI. yüzyılda III. Murad'ın emriyle Topkapı Sarayı Nakkâşhanesi'nde hazırlanan ve III. Mehmed döneminde tamamlanmış olan Siyer-i Nebî, Hz. Muhammed'in hayatını detaylı bir şekilde anlatan önemli bir el yazmasıdır. Altı ciltten oluşan eser, beşinci cilt hariç çeşitli kütüphanelerde bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, minyatürlerin üslubu incelenirken, 1. bölümde dönemin siyasi ve kültürel gelişmeleri anlatılıp, ardından o dönemdeki sanat ortamına dair bilgiler sunulmaktadır. Dublin Chester Beatty Library'de bulunan orijinal dördüncü cildinin birebir kopyası olan 193 minyatürün resmedildiği, TİEM nr.1974 envanter numaralı eseri ele alınmıştır. Bu çalışmada incelediğimiz "Kadın Figürlerinin Analizi"ni konu alan 39 minyatür yer almaktadır. Bu ciltte kadın karakterlerinin hikayeleriyle ilgili tasvirlere bolca yer verilmiştir. Çalışmamızın, beşinci bölümün minyatürlerin tasarım, kompozisyon ve figür kurguları analiz edilmiştir. Siyer-i Nebî, which was prepared in the Nakkâşhane of Topkapı Palace by order of Murad III in the 16th century and completed during the reign of Mehmed III, is an important manuscript that describes the life of Prophet Muhammad in detail. The work, which consists of six volumes, is available in various libraries except the fifth volume. In this study, while analyzing the style of the miniatures, the political and cultural developments of the period are described in the first chapter, followed by information on the artistic environment of that period. The work with the inventory number TİEM nr.1974, which is an exact copy of the original fourth volume in the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin, with 193 miniatures, is analyzed. There are 39 miniatures on the subject of "Analysis of Female Figures" that we examined in this study. In this volume, depictions of the stories of female characters are abundant. In the fifth part of our study, the design, composition and figure constructions of the miniatures were analyzed.
