İmam Hatip ve Düz Ortaokullarda Görev Yapan Öğretmenlerin Disiplin Problemleri Konusundaki Görüşleri

Abstract

Araştırmanın problem cümlesi “İmam hatip ortaokulu ve düz ortaokulda görev yapan öğretmenlerin disiplin problemleri konusundaki görüşleri nelerdir?’’ olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırmada eğitim-öğretim sırasında sınıflarda yaşanan eğitimöğretimi engelleyen disiplin problemlerinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Bu araştırmanın çalışma grubu İstanbul ilinde 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında imam hatip ortaokulu ve düz ortaokulda çalışan 10 Erkek 10 Kadın toplam 20 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Öğretmenlerden çeşitlilik göstermesi sebebiyle kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile çalışma grubu oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmada nitel bir araştırma yöntemi olan durum deseni kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 5 kişisel bilgi sorusu ve 6 görüşme sorusundan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Her iki okul türünde de birbirine yakın sonuçlar ortaya çıkmıştır. Görüşme formunun uygulanması sonucu elde edilen veriler amaçlara ulaşıldığını göstermiştir. Verilerin analizi içerik analiziyle yapılmıştır. Genel olarak araştırma verileri sonuçlarına bakıldığında İmam hatip ve düz ortaokuldaki öğretmenlerin disiplin problemleri konusundaki görüşlerinde eğitimöğretim ortamında disiplin problemlerinin, öğretmenin sınıf yönetimi başarısının, öğretmen ve öğrenci davranışlarının, öğretmenin tecrübesinin ve öğrencilerin derse karşı tutumlarının önem arz ettiği bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. İmam hatip ve düz ortaokulda “Derste Konuşma, Zor Gelmiyor, Konuşmak, Sınıfa Göre Değişir kodları frekansı en yüksek çıkan ve örtüşen kodlar olmuştur. İmam hatip ve düz ortaokulda hiç örtüşmeyen sonuçlar ise “Başka Şeylerle İlgilenme, Not Kaygısı, Ders Süresinin Uzun Olması, Göz Teması Kurma, Sınıf Kurallarını Öğrencilerle Belirleme, Oyun Oynamak, Şiddet” olarak çıkmıştır.The problem statement of the research was determined as "What are the opinions of the teachers working at imam hatip secondary school and regular secondary school on disciplinary problems?" In this study, it is aimed to determine the discipline problems that prevent education in classrooms during lessons. The study group of this research consists of 20 teachers including 10 male and 10 female who work at the imam hatip secondary school and the regular secondary school in Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. Due to the variety of teachers, the study group was formed with the convenience sampling method. The case design, which is a qualitative research method, was used in the research. As a data collection tool, a semi-structured interview form consisting of 5 personal information questions and 6 interview questions was used. Results appeared to be close to each other at both types of schools. The data obtained as a result of the application of the interview form showed that the objectives were achieved. Data analysis was done by content analysis. In general, when the results of the research data have been checked, it has been found that the discipline problems in the education environment, the success of the teacher's classroom management, the behavior of the teacher and the student, the experience of the teacher and the attitudes of the students towards the lesson have been important according to the opinions of the teachers at the imam hatip and regular secondary school on disciplinary problems. The codes of “Speaking in Class, It isnot Difficult, Speaking, Varies According to Class” have been the codes with the highest frequency and overlapping at imam hatip and regular secondary schools. The results, which did not overlap at all at imam hatip and regular secondary schools, have been “Distraction, Grade Anxiety, Long Lesson Time, Making Eye Contact, Determining Class Rules with Students, Playing Games and Violence.”
