TSMK H. 1703'e kayıtlı Falnâme eseri minyatürlerinin kompozisyon analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada incelenen eser, Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi Kütüphanesi Hazine 1703 numaraya kayıtlıdır. XVII. yüzyıl dönemine ait olan eser, Osmanlı Sarayı'nda önemli görevlerde bulunmuş Kalender Paşa tarafından bir araya getirilerek dönemin Sultanı I. Ahmed'e sunulmuştur. Resimli falnâme özelliği taşıyan bu eser, otuz beş minyatür içermektedir. 1614- 1616 yılları arasında derlendiği düşünülen eserin minyatürlerinin nerede ve kimler tarafından yapıldığı bilinmemektedir. Çalışmada, dönemin siyasi ve sanat ortamı hakkında bilgiler verildikten sonra fal ve resimli falnâmelere değinilmiş; ardından Kalender Paşa'nın hayatı ve eserleri ele alınmıştır. Eserin fiziki özellikleri anlatıldıktan sonra, minyatürler ile metin arasında ilişki kurulmuş ve görsellerdeki hikayeler anlatılmıştır. Tasvirler, kurgulanan kompozisyon düzeni, figür yerleşimleri ve renk kullanımları açısından detaylı olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ustalıkla bir araya getirilmiş ve çeşitli konuları barındıran minyatürlerin tasarım ilkeleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olmaktır.

The work examined in this study is registered in the Topkapı Palace Museum Library, Treasury 1703. The work, which belongs to the XVIIth century period, was compiled by Kalender Pasha, who held important positions in the Ottoman Palace, and presented to the Sultan Ahmed I of the period. This work, which is an illustrated fortune-telling, contains thirty-five miniatures. It is thought to have been compiled between 1614-1616, but it is not known where and by whom the miniatures were made. In this study, after giving information about the political and artistic environment of the period, fortune-telling and illustrated fortune-telling are discussed, followed by the life and works of Kalender Pasha. After describing the physical characteristics of the work, the relationship between the miniatures and the text is established and the stories in the images are told. The depictions are examined in detail in terms of the compositional order, figure placement and use of color. The aim of this study is to gain knowledge about the design principles of miniatures, which are skillfully put together and contain various subjects.
