dc.description.abstractCardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are among the leading causes of death globally, with early diagnosis posing significant challenges due to subtle initial symptoms and disease complexity. Traditional diagnostic methods often fall short in detecting early-stage CVDs, highlighting the need for more advanced technologies. Quantum biosensors have emerged as a promising solution, utilizing quantum mechanics principles—such as entanglement, tunneling, and superposition to detect cardiovascular biomarkers with exceptional sensitivity at the nanoscale. Recent developments have focused on enhancing these sensors by integrating them with nanomaterials and microfluidic systems, enabling faster and more accurate detection. Moreover, incorporating quantum biosensors into wearable technologies offers potential for continuous, real-time cardiovascular monitoring. Despite their promise, challenges related to scalability, cost, and integration into current healthcare infrastructure must be addressed. Nevertheless, quantum biosensors represent a significant advancement in early diagnosis and personalized treatment of CVDs, and ongoing research continues to push their development forward.
