Özet

In May 2022, the international Medworlds workshop was organized on the theme of “Coexistence in Practice: Politics, Trade and Culture in the Late Medieval Anatolia and Iberia” under the main sponsorship of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies (ORDAM), and supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) and the Mediterranean Seminar. Held in Istanbul, the event brought together academics from eight countries working on different historical periods and various fields. This fostered discussions on new approaches to Mediterranean history in general and reevaluation of existing arguments.
