İstanbul Merkezli Bir Sırp Gazetesi: Carigradski Glasnik - İstanbul Muhbiri (1895-1909)

Abstract

Tezimizde ele aldığımız Carigradski Glasnik Gazetesi Sırbistan’ın Berlin Kongresi’nde bağımsızlık kazanmasından sonra Osmanlı Devleti’nde yaşamaya devam eden Sırp tebaasının yayın organıdır. Gazete Osmanlı Devleti’nin son döneminde Osmanlı Sırplarının hayatı, sosyal yaşamları, görüşleri ve Osmanlı Devleti ile olan ilişkilerinin anlaşılması için önemli bir araçtır. Bu çalışmada gazeteyi çeşitli yönlerden değerlendirerek Osmanlı-Sırbistan ilişkilerini nasıl sunduğunu, Osmanlı Devleti’ne yönelik tavrını ve Osmanlı Sırplarının II. Meşrutiyet sonrasındaki durumlarının gazeteye yansımasını ele aldık. Bunu yaparken birincil kaynağımız Sırbistan Halk Kütüphanesi’nin sayfasında erişime açık olan gazetenin okunaklı sayıları olup ikincil kaynaklarla incelememizi destekledik. Böylece ele alınan konulara çok yönlü bir yaklaşım ve yorum kazandırdık.In our thesis we examine a Serbian newspaper named Carigradski Glasnik that is served as a publication of The Serbian Community residing in the Ottoman Empire after Serbia gained independence at The Berlin Congress. The newspaper played a significant role in understanding the lives, social activities, opinions and relations of the Ottoman Serbs with the Ottoman State in the period of late Ottoman Empire. In this study, we examined the newspaper from various perspectives to understand how it presented the Ottoman-Serbian relations, its stance towards the Ottoman Empire, and how it reflected the situation of Ottoman Serbs especially after the Second Constitutional Era. Our primary source was the readable issues of the newspaper available on the website of the National Library of Serbia. Also the study was supported by secondary sources to complement our analysis. By adopting a multidimensional approach and interpretation, we aimed to shed light on the discussed topics.
