Osman Şems’in “Mecmûa-i Kelimât-ı Manzûme ve Mensûre” Adıyla Kayıtlı Mecmuası’nın İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Atatürk Kitaplığı’nda Nadir Eserler Depo bölümünde T811 ŞEM 1’de “Mecmûa-i Kelimât-ı Manzûme ve Mensûre” başlığıyla kayıtlı mecmuanın transkripsiyonlu metni ve incelenmesinden oluşmaktadır. Toplam üç bölümden meydana gelen çalışmaya konu olan mecmuada 19.yüzyılın edebî ve tasavvufî yönüyle öne çıkmış şairi Osman Şems Efendi’nin şiirlerinin çoğunlukta olması sebebiyle onun hayatına da yer verilmiştir. Buna göre giriş bölümünün ardından Osman Şems Efendi’nin hayatı, tasavvufî hayatı, edebî kişiliği ve eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İnceleme bölümündeyse mecmuanın genel özellikleri, şekil ve muhteva özellikleri başlıklarıyla aktarılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde transkripsiyonlu metnin verilmesiyle çalışma sonlandırılmıştır. Mecmualar Türk edebiyatının kayda değer kaynakları arasında yer almaktadır. Bu çalışma da hem mecmua çalışmalarına katkı sağlama hem de Osman Şems Efendi gibi önemli bir şairin eserlerini tamamlama ve daha ileri götürme amacıyla ortaya konmuştur.

This study consists of the transcribed text and analysis of the magazine registered under the title "Mecmûa-i Kelimât-ı Manzûme ve Mensûre" in T811 ŞEM 1 in the Rare Works Depot section of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Atatürk Library. In the magazine, which is the subject of the study consisting of three parts in total, the life of Osman Şems Efendi, the prominent poet of the 19th century with his literary and Sufi aspects, is included, as his poems are the majority. Accordingly, after the introduction part, information about Osman Şems Efendi's life, Sufi life, literary personality and works is given. In the review section, the general features of the magazine, its form and content features are explained under the headings. In the fourth chapter, the study was concluded by giving the transcribed text. Magazines are among the notable sources of Turkish literature. This study has been put forward with the aim of both contributing to magazine studies and completing and furthering the works of an important poet such as Osman Şems Efendi.
