dc.description.abstractMany Islamic geometric patterns consist of stripes which are recognizable in the two dimensional patterns. These stripes systematically pass over or under each other, thus they create a tessellation. This system has the same principle with reciprocal frame structures. Considering this situation, in this study, it is aimed to lift the two dimensional Islamic geometric patterns to the third dimension with the principle of reciprocal frame structures. A selected Islamic geometric pattern has been lifted to the third dimension in the reciprocal structure principle, and structural analyzes have been performed.en_US
