Hadislerde 'cennetin kokusunu alamaz' diye nitelenenler

Abstract

Cennet, Kur'an-ı Kerim'de birçok ayette geçmekte olup çeşitli nimetleriyle ayrıntılı olarak tasvir edilmiştir. Cennetin sonsuz nimetlerine erişebilmek için dünya hayatında imtihan içerisinde bir yaşam sürülmektedir. Yapılan ameller doğrultusunda cennette karşılaşılacak mükafatlar çeşitlenecektir. Cennette tahtlar, köşkler ve ırmaklar gibi birçok nimet, dünyada yapılan amellerin karşılığı olarak verilecektir. Araştırmada, "cennetin kokusunu alamaz" ifadesinin geçtiği hadisler incelenmiştir. Cennetin kokusu kırk, yetmiş ve beş yüz yıllık mesafeden dahi duyulacağını bildiren rivayetler bu ifadenin geçtiği hadislerde zikredilmiştir. Bu kadar mesafeden dahi alınan kokudan mahrum olunmasına sebep olacak davranışlar bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın konusu "cennetin kokusunu alamaz" ifadesinin geçtiği hadislerde zikredilen amellerin incelenmesidir. Cennetin kokusundan bile mahrum olma, ahlakî ve dinî yükümlülükleri yerine getirmeyenler için bir uyarıdır. Bu uyarıda dikkate alınması gereken durum mahrumiyet değildir. Cennetin kokusundan mahrum olamaya, sebep olacak davranışlardır. Bu çalışmada; bu ifadenin geçtiği hadislerin senedlerindeki râviler hakkında cerh ve ta'dil âlimlerinin görüşleri zikredilmekte, hadislerin kabul ve red açısından dereceleri belirtilmektedir. Ayrıca bu hadislerde söz konusu edilen davranışların ve bu davranışlar hakkında âlimlerin değerlendirmelerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

Paradise is mentioned in many verses of the Qur'an and described with different blessings. To reach its endless rewards, people must undergo a test in this worldly life. The rewards in Paradise will vary according to a person's deeds. Thrones, palaces, and rivers are among the many blessings given as a reward for good deeds in this world. This study examines the hadiths containing the phrase "will not smell the fragrance of Paradise." Some narrations indicate that the fragrance of Paradise can be sensed from distances of forty, seventy, or even five hundred years away. However, certain actions will prevent a person from smelling this fragrance at all. The purpose of this study is to analyze the deeds mentioned within these hadiths. Being deprived of the fragrance of Paradise is a warning for those who do not fulfill their moral and religious responsibilities. The important point here is not only the deprivation itself but also the actions that cause it. This research discusses the opinions of Al-Jar? wa al-Ta?d?l (criticism and Justification) scholars about the narrators in the chains of transmission of the hadiths in which this expression is mentioned. It further evaluates the authenticity and classification of these hadiths regarding acceptance and rejection. Additionally, the study aims to examine the behaviors described in these hadiths and how scholars have interpreted them.
