Kosova-Mamuşa saat kulesi

Abstract

Kosova’ nın Prizren ili, Mamuşa ilçesi’nde bulunan saat kulesi, Osmanlı döneminde, 1815 (H.1230) yılında Prizren Mutasarrıfı (Kaymakamı) Mahmut Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Yapı, bazı özgün olmayan değişikliklere ve statik problemlere karşın, günümüze kadar ayakta kalabilmeyi başarmış ve uzun yıllar hizmet vermiştir. Mamuşa Saat Kulesi’nin çanı, Mahmut Paşa tarafından, savaştan sonra Semendire’deki bir kiliseden alınarak Mamuşa Köyü’ne getirilmiştir. Moloz taştan yapılan dikdörtgen prizma gövdeli saat kulesi kırma çatıyla örtülmüştür. Çatı üzerinden yükselen ve çanı taşıyan bir çıkıntı daha bulunmakta olup, saat kulesinin yüksekliği, 14.40 metredir. Saat Kulesi’nin korunması, sürekliliği için hazırlanmış olan restorasyon projesinin önemi büyüktür. Bu nedenle yapılacak olan restorasyon projesinin, sürekliliğin ve korumanın ikinci en önemli aşaması olacağı rahatlıkla söylenebilir. Makalemizde, saat kulesinin tanımı, projelerinin oluşturulması süreci anlatılmıştır.The clock tower in Mamuşa distinct of the Prizren province of Kosovo was constructed by Mahmut Pasha, the kaimakam of Prizren, in 1815, during the Ottoman era. The building has survived till today and continued to serve for long years even though some uncompatible changes and statical problems. The bell of the building was transported from a church in Smederevo. The building was built in rubble and has a shape of rectangular plan scheme with a curb roof. There exists another structure in order to support the bell statically and the total height of the tower is 14.40 meters. The projects of conversation has great significance, therefore the projects are the most second important step of maintenance and conversation. The essay mentions about the architectural feautures of the tower and the period of projection.
