Savaşın Yükü: Osmanlı Ordusunun 1663 Uyvar Seferi’nde Kullandığı Mühimmat ve Cephane (MAD 15877 Künyeli Cebehâne Defteri’ne Göre)

Abstract

Osmanlı Devleti’ni XVII. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren meşgul eden bir dizi problemin ve bu problemleri çözmeye yönelik diplomatik ve nihayet askerî manevraların içerisinde önemli bir yer tutan Uyvar Seferi hem Osmanlı askerî tarihi hem de dünya harp tarihine birçok açıdan katkılar yapabilecek bir mahiyettedir. Uyvar Seferi’nin organizasyon, lojistik hazırlıklar ve kuşatma sürecine dair genel çerçeve literatürde ayrıntılı biçimde ele alınmış olmakla birlikte, bu çalışmanın odağını özellikle seferde kullanılan mühimmat ve cephane oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma, 1663 Uyvar Seferi’nde Osmanlı ordusunun kullandığı mühimmat ve cephanenin çeşitliliğini, dağıtımını, bu mühimmat ve cephanenin teknoloji tarihindeki yerini ve yapılan dağıtıma göre ordunun yapısal özelliklerini incelemektedir. Cumhurbaşkanlığı Osmanlı Arşivleri’nde bulunan Maliyeden Müdevver (MAD) defterlerden 15877 numaralı Cebehâne Defteri, Uyvar Kuşatması’na giden Osmanlı ordusunun teslim aldığı mühimmat ve cephane ile bu mühimmat ve cephanenin kuşatma sırasında hangi birliklere ne miktarda dağıtıldığını ihtiva ettiğinden makalenin temelini oluşturacak ve bu Cebehâne Defteri’nden derlenen veriler etraflıca değerlendirilecektir.

The Uyvar Campaign holds a significant place within the political and military challenges that confronted the Ottoman State in the second half of the 17th century. Beyond its organizational, political, diplomatic, and siege-related dimensions, the ammunition and weaponry employed during the campaign offer valuable insights that can both resolve existing questions in military history and generate new ones. This study investigates the variety, distribution, historical significance, and structural implications of the arms and munitions used by the Ottoman army in the 1663 Uyvar Campaign. Its principal source is the 15877 Cebehâne Register from the Maliyeden Müdevver, which provides a detailed account of the ammunition and weaponry supplied to the army and their distribution among units during the siege. The data contained in this register were analyzed in depth to shed light on the campaign’s military logistics and broader historical context.
