From Transformational Leadership to Individual and Collective Teacher Innovativeness: The Roles of AI Competence and Learning Agility

Abstract

urpose – This research investigates how learning agility mediates the relationship between transformational leadership (TL) and innovativeness, with artificial intelligence (AI) competence serving as a moderator. Design/methodology/approach – The sample consisted of 417 Turkish teachers, and structural equation modeling was used for data analysis. Findings – AI competence moderated the relationship between TL and learning agility and the indirect effect of TL on innovativeness. AI competence enhanced TL’s influence on both individual and collective innovativeness. Originality/value – This research is among the first to integrate learning agility and AI competence into the educational leadership literature to understand how school leaders promote innovation.
